Not Us Or Them
Have you had enough?
The exhausted majority of Americans do not support extremist politics. They just want better lives, and brighter futures for their families, and for their communities. But they are unseen. We must help them become visible.

“If Americans could see each other, we'd remember we're on the same side.”
Suzanne Brennan Firstenberg is the artist behind In America: Remember — the installation of 700,000 white flags on the National Mall honoring those lost to COVID. "We" is her next project: a wearable symbol for the road to America 250.
We believe in solutions.
We believe the future is brighter, together.
What We Stand For
-
Bedrock of Democracy
We, the people, are the foundation. Those who seek to divide us weaken that bedrock.
-
A Truly Inclusive "We"
All people left out of the original founding are included in We.
-
Collaborative Solutions
We want collaborative, future-oriented responses to the real challenges ahead.
-
Systemic Reform
We support those working to improve our political system for everyone.

Frequently asked
Questions? We've got answers.
What does "We" mean?
"We" comes from the first words of the Constitution: "We the People." It is a reminder that our strength as a nation comes from all of us — we are the bedrock of our nation.
Who's behind this?
A small group of friends wanted to share their commitment to each other and this idea of the United States. We wanted a way to be visibly hopeful — to show that we believe in a strong, united country. We reject efforts that try to weaken us from within and without.
This 501(c)(3) non-profit organization is dedicated to using art to better communities and was founded by artist Suzanne Brennan Firstenberg, who made the immense loss of the pandemic visible to the world — and understands the transformative power of visibility.
What happens to the proceeds?
Proceeds from cap sales go directly to distributing more caps for more folks.
How do I get involved?
Wear it. Share it. Blanket the nation in hope.
Wear the We cap and encourage others to do so. If you lead an organization, purchase We caps to give to your members. Refer us to other community leaders and connectors who share these values.
